The Aspiro Group of Programs serves families of all different backgrounds, experiences and needs. While Aspiro does address specific and unique issues with each individual student and family, we find that nearly all families come to us asking one central and very important question:
How do you help someone see something they don’t want to see?
The Arbinger Institute defines self-deception as not knowing – and resisting the possibility – that one has a problem. Clearly, as long as the problem of not knowing one has a problem remains ... so will all other problems.
The Aspiro programs use this philosophy in helping our students see radically new ways to understand and to solve problems. Most of the Aspiro Group of programs therapeutic intervention are founded on the Arbinger Institute’s work. We assist our students in finding solutions that help them live more happily and work (at school or at home or in their community) more productively.
A Note to Parents / Guardians of Students in Our Programs:
What if in our conflicts with others there is something we want more than solutions? Through an intriguing story of parents who are struggling with their children and problems that have come to consume their lives, we learn from once bitter enemies the way to find peace whenever war is upon us.
The Anatomy of Peace is a book we recommend all parents read. Please click below to order from Amazon.com. You may also be in interested in some of the other books our staff recommend.
